June 19, 2010: Melody earned 1st Place Overall Pairs Freestyle Skyhoundz Award (J&T), 2nd Place Overall Time Trial Skyhoundz Award (J), 3rd Place Overall Extreme Distance Skyhoundz Award (J), 1st Place Pairs Freestyle (J&T), 2nd Place Expert Time Trial (J), 3rd Place Expert Distance/Accuracy (J), 3rd Place Men's Extreme Distance (J). Allegro earned Reserve Champion Intermediate Division (T), 3rd Place Overall Pairs Freestyle Skyhoundz Award (T&J), 3rd Place Pairs Freestyle (T&J).

About Team Melody: Melody, a boxer/lab mix, discovered competitive frisbee in 2006 and has been competing seriously since 2007. Melody qualified for the 2010 USDDN National Finals, qualified for and competed in the 2009 Skyhoundz World Championship, qualified for and competed in the 2009 & 2008 & 2007 USDDN National Finals, has earned over 245 awards, and has been featured in 5 newspaper articles. Jeff composed, performed, and recorded Melody's freestyle song.

Allegro, a cattle dog/border collie mix, joined our family from a rescue organization at the USDDN National Finals in November, 2007. Allegro qualified for and competed in the 2009 USDDN National Finals, has earned over 70 awards, and is trying to follow in his sister's pawsteps.
